How will my donation be used?
The costs associated with showing artwork in a gallery is a major barrier to entry for a majority of emerging artists. Our Arrived Exhibitions remove this barrier by curating exhibitions with little to no cost to the artist. Your donation primarily helps us fund our flagship Arrived Art Exhibitions, which feature artists to help them gain gallery experience, reach new audiences, and sell their art. Costs associated with an art exhibition are included but not limited to venue rental, production materials, marketing, licensing, etc. You can view our 'Exhibitions' page to see the art shows we have put on in the past.
How do you choose which organizations to donate to?
We do our own research as well as collaborate with artists to decide which local organization to donate to. In the past we've donated to organizations that focus on creative growth for the youth. Our previous donations include Oakland School of Arts, Amplify Outside, and Arts For All.
What states do you operate in?
We are based in California, but have also held our Art Exhibitions in New York and Michigan. We are a new organization, but we plan on expanding into other states as we grow. If you're interested in partnering with us, we'd love to hear from you!
What art mediums do you support?
Given the co-founders are both photographers, our shows have leaned towards photography, however, we do not want to limit ourselves to just this medium. In our most recent show we've featured botanical artists, painters, and musicians. We plan on supporting all art mediums.
How do you raise funds?
Up until now we have raised funds by leveraging ticket sales, individual donations, and self-funds to host our Art Exhibitions. Now that we are officially a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Organization, we plan on partnering with organizations to fundraise.
What makes your shows stand out from others?
We focus on creating an elegant, yet accessible experience for both artists and exhibition goers alike, while maintaining an authentic atmosphere by hosting shows in unconventional spaces. This has allowed us to garner a wide range of guests and supporters. Most importantly, the most common piece of feedback we receive from guests and artists alike is "I feel like I can belong here."
Does Arrived have offerings outside of the exhibitions?
Currently, the Arrived Art Exhibition is our primary offering. As we grow, we plan to offer workshops for creatives, resources, and grants to emerging artists across the country. If you're interested in learning about this mission, we'd love to speak with you.
